DIRECTOR / PDMR SHAREHOLDING - IMPACT OF 2015 FINAL

DIVIDEND ON DIRECTOR / PDMR SHAREHOLDING

London, UK - 17 May 2016: Spirent Communications plc ("the Company") (LSE: SPT), a leading communications technology company, would like to notify the market in accordance with the Financial Conduct Authority's ("FCA") Disclosure and Transparency Rules (DTR3.1.4) of the following changes in the interests of a Director / Person Discharging Managerial Responsibility resulting from the payment of the 2015 Final Dividend on 6 May 2016.

The Company has been notified that on 13 May 2016 Rachel Whiting acquired 108 Ordinary Shares of 3 1/3 pence each at a price of £0.8295 per share as a result of the reinvestment of the dividend paid on shares held in a stocks and shares ISA.

Following these notifications, the total beneficial interest of Mrs Whiting and her connected persons in the Ordinary shares of the Company is 93,450.
