RESULT OF EXTRAORDINARY GENERAL MEETING
Spirent plc (LSE: SPT; NYSE: SPM), a leading international network technology
company, announces that at the Extraordinary General Meeting of the Company held
today the Ordinary Resolution approving the Spirent Stock Option Plan option
exchange programme and renewal, as set out in the Notice of the Meeting sent to
shareholders on 19 June 2003, was duly passed.
