Sportech confirms successful testing of Interactive 'I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out
of Here' TV Game
Sportech PLC owner of Littlewoods Gaming, the UK's leading home gaming company,
is pleased to confirm the successful testing of its first ITV programme-linked
interactive TV game.
Costing 50p per session of play, the game was made available to ITV's
interactive viewing audience, alongside week two of the popular second series of
'I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here'. The game, 'Celebrity Temper Tantrums'
strongly reflected the programme's branding and style.
Colin McGill, Managing Director, Sportech PLC, said:
'The high profile second series of 'I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here' provided
an ideal opportunity to test this new entertainment concept with viewers and we
are pleased with the results. This essential testing brings us one step closer
to launching a developed portfolio of interactive gaming opportunities with ITV
later this year.'

About Celebrity Temper Tantrums:
The aim of the game was to keep the virtual celebrities' tantrums at bay as they
began to miss their creature comforts in the rainforest. When they began to
crave love, drink, food or comfort, the player had to give them what they wanted
as quickly as possible before they had a strop.
Points are awarded for every item given to a celebrity in time - whether that's
a bottle of wine, a chocolate bar or some loo roll. Keep them waiting, the more
and more worked up they'll get, eventually leading to them walking off to bed
and game over.
Game play costs 50p per session. High scoring entries are invited to enter the
daily prize draw competition to win a DVD player, at a cost of a 25p per entry/
call.
