Further re Holding in Company

The Company previously disclosed that Newby Manor Limited has acquired
168,282,663 Ordinary 5p shares in Rodime representing 39.8% of the Company's
ordinary share capital. However, as a result of the allotment of 169,516,590 new
ordinary shares in connection with the rights issue which was also approved by
shareholders of the Company on 4 September 2000, Newby Manor Limited's holding
will represent 28.42% of Rodime's issued ordinary share capital as enlarged by
the subscription and the rights issue.
