Rodime PLC 4 September 2000 Rodime plc EGM At an extraordinary general meeting of Rodime plc ('the Company') held today the resolutions proposed in the circular to the shareholders of the Company dated 11th August 2000 were duly passed by Rodime shareholders. These resolutions included the proposed acquisition of the gaming and betting division of The Littlewoods Organisation plc, the proposed 2 for 3 Rights Issue of 169,516,590 New Ordinary Shares at 10p per share and the proposed subscription by Newby Manor Limited for 168,282,663 New Ordinary Shares at 7p per share. The shareholders also passed a resolution changing the company name to Sportech plc and approved a new share option scheme. Provisional allotment letters will be dispatched today to shareholders on the register at 25th August 2000. The admission of New Ordinary Shares to the Official List and to trading on the London Stock Exchange (in the case of the Rights Issue Shares, nil paid) is expected to take place tomorrow. The latest time and date for splitting Provisional Allotment Letters, nil paid, is 3.00 pm on 21st September 2000 and the latest time and date for acceptance and payment in full is 3.00 pm on 25th September 2000. Commencement of dealings in Rights Issue Shares, fully paid, is expected to take place on 26th September 2000.
