RESULT OF 2 FOR 3 RIGHTS ISSUE
On 4 September 2000 Sportech held an EGM at which approval was obtained,
inter alia, to acquire the gaming and betting division of The Littlewoods
Organisation plc, to be partly funded by a 2 for 3 rights issue ('Rights
Issue') of 169,516,590 new ordinary 5p shares at 10p each ('Rights Shares').
The result of the Rights Issue, for which the latest time and date for
acceptance and payment in full was 3.00pm on 25 September 2000, was as
follows:
