Director Shareholding and Total Voting Rights

Springfield Properties plc (AIM: SPR), a leading housebuilder in Scotland offering private and affordable housing, announces that Michelle Motion, Chief Financial Officer of the Company, has today exercised options over 21,226 ordinary shares of 0.125 pence each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at a price of 84.8p per Ordinary Share, under the Company's SAYE option plan.  

Following the exercise of options, Ms. Motion has an increased shareholding of 74,225 Ordinary Shares, representing 0.1 per cent. of the Company's enlarged issued share capital. In addition, she holds remaining options over 418,828 Ordinary Shares.   

Total Voting Rights

The Ordinary Shares were allotted under the Company's block listing facility. Following this exercise, and the exercise of options by non-PDMRs of the Company, the total number of Ordinary Shares in issue is 98,401,536. This figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the share capital of the Company under the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
