Scottish and Southern Energy Announces Board Change
Scottish and Southern Energy today announces that Ian McMillan, Power Systems
Director is to retire on 30 September, age 56, after 39 years in the industry.
Commenting on the announcement, Chairman, Lord Wilson of Tillyorn said 'Ian
has been an invaluable member of the Group before, during and since the
merger, eighteen months ago.'
'His long working experience and his extensive knowledge of the Power Systems
business and the communities we serve has been of tremendous benefit to us.
We are grateful for the enormous commitment and contribution Ian has made to
help build the strong foundation which Scottish and Southern Energy now has as
we go forward.'
Colin Hood, who is designate Director of Power Systems will take over from Ian
on his retirement, reporting direct to Chief Executive, Jim Forbes.
