Scottish & Southern Energy PLC
10 November 1999
Scottish and Southern Energy plc announces that David Gray, Business
Development director, has resigned as a director of the company with immediate
effect. To ensure a smooth transition he will remain in employment until 31
March 2000.
Commenting on the decision Lord Wilson of Tillyorn, Chairman said: 'David
Gray has played an important role spearheading the integration of our two
companies following the merger and setting up a strategy unit to take Scottish
and Southern Energy forward. He has done so with energy and skill. We
indicated at the time of the merger that the structure of the Board would be
kept under review and as Integration has neared completion we have agreed that
its size should be reduced. The decision has been mutually agreed.'
