Scottish and Southern Energy Announces Board Changes
Scottish and Southern Energy today announces two changes to its Board. Dr Jim
Hart, Commercial Director will retire from the Board during 2001. David
Sigsworth currently Energy Trading Director will become Energy Supply Director
following Jim Hart's retirement. Colin Hood, Director of Power Systems will
join the Board on 1st January 2001.
Commenting on the announcement, Chairman of Scottish and Southern Energy, Lord
Wilson of Tillyorn said, 'Jim Hart has made an outstanding contribution to the
development of Scottish and Southern Energy over the past 15 years. His wide
ranging experience and knowledge of the energy markets have been greatly
valued by the Board.
'We look forward to welcoming Colin Hood to the Board as Power Systems
Director. He has worked with Scottish and Southern Energy for the last 23
years. The experience he has gained makes him ideally suited to take over
this responsibility.'
