BOARD ANNOUNCEMENT - JIM HART RETIREMENT DATE
The Board of Scottish and Southern Energy today announces that Jim Hart is to
retire from the Board as Commercial Director with effect from 31st March 2001.
This follows the announcement made on 7th November 2000 indicating his
intention to stand down.
Commenting on the announcement, Chairman, Dr Bruce Farmer said, 'I would once
again like to pay tribute to Jim Hart for the outstanding contribution he had
made to Scottish and Southern Energy over the past 15 years. His wide ranging
experience and knowledge of the energy markets have been greatly valued by the
Board'.
