CAPITAL MARKETS DAY AND NEW BUSINESS UPDATE

Capital Markets Day

St. James's Place, the leading advice-led wealth management business, will today host a virtual capital markets event for institutional investors and analysts.

The event will be hosted by Andrew Croft, Chief Executive, and members of St. James's Place's executive management team, who will update on elements of the Group's business model and strategy before participating in a live question and answer session. The event will start at 15:00 BST and is expected to conclude by 18:00 BST.

New Business Update

St. James's Place is today also providing an update on new business flows since the end of Q1 2021.

We are encouraged that the strong new business activity we experienced in March has continued into the second quarter. The combination of improving client confidence and the high level of accumulated savings, has driven strong engagement between our advisers and their clients, resulting in  gross inflows for the five months to the end of May 2021 likely to be around 23% higher than the corresponding period in 2020.

While there remains uncertainty ahead given the ongoing pandemic, we are confident of another good year for St. James's Place.
