St. James's Place Capital plc ('SJPC')
Mr Martin Moule, a director of SJPC, notified the Company on 20 March 2002 that
on 19 March 2002 he exercised options under the SJPC Executive Share Option
Scheme over 59,955 ordinary 15p shares of SJPC at an exercise price of £1.49 per
share. Mr Moule also notified the Company on the same date that, in order to
meet the cost of income tax, the exercise cost and dealing expenses arising from
the exercise, he sold 41,987 ordinary 15p shares on 19 March 2002 at a price of
£3.00 each.
Mr Moule's interests in ordinary shares of SJPC after this transaction are:
Beneficial: 49,791
Non-beneficial: nil
With the exception of the changes notified above, Mr Moule's interests in
options to subscribe for ordinary shares in SJPC are unchanged.
