As previously announced by St. James's Place plc ('SJP plc'), Andy Hornby and Jo
Dawson join SJP plc today as non-executive directors replacing James Crosby and
John Edwards as the HBOS representatives.



At the date of their appointment to SJP plc, neither Andy Hornby nor Jo Dawson
had any interests in the ordinary 15p shares of SJP plc.
