SJPC was informed on 31 July 2000 by Prudential plc that the interests of
Prudential plc in ordinary shares of SJPC have ceased to be a notifiable
interest for the purpose of s.198 of the Companies Act 1985 since its holding
represents less than 3% of the relevant share capital.
