SJPC Board
The SJPC Board is delighted to announce that Michael Wilson and Sir Mark
Weinberg have agreed to continue in their roles as Chief Executive and
Chairman. The Board resolved on 5 December 2000 to extend the date on which
Michael Wilson's service agreement automatically terminates from 5 December
2003 to 31 December 2005 (or such later date as the Company and Michael Wilson
may mutually agree) and to remove the provision in Sir Mark Weinberg's service
agreement that it automatically terminates on 9 August 2001. Both service
agreements remain capable of earlier termination by either party giving one
year's notice of termination.
Director Shareholding
Mr Michael Wilson, executive director of SJPC, today notified the Company that
he was granted options on 11 December 2000 under the Executive Share Option
Scheme 2000 to acquire 450,000 ordinary shares of 15p each in SJPC at an
exercise price of 352.5p per share, first exercisable between 11 December 2004
and 11 December 2005.
With the exception of the changes notified above, Mr Wilson's interests in
ordinary shares of SJPC are unchanged.
