For Immediate Release 23 July 2014
STAFFLINE GROUP PLC
('Staffline' or 'the Group')
Contract Win
Staffline, the national recruitment, outsourcing, training and Welfare to Work organisation providing people and operational expertise to industry, is pleased to announce that EOS has secured one of the three Northern Ireland 'Steps to Success' contracts.
The Steps to Success contracts are Northern Ireland's main adult employment programme, operated by the Department of Employment and Learning ('DEL'), and similar to the Work Programme currently in operation across England, Scotland and Wales. The four year contract includes an additional possibility of a two year extension and will position EOS as the sole prime provider in the Northern region of the province.
The EOS delivery model will incorporate the use of Staffline's innovative Employment & Training Centres and will include centres in Derry / Londonderry and Newtownabbey. The contract will be supported by Staffline Ireland to create employer led staffing solutions. The contract will also feature EOS's latest innovation, a tablet based mobile solution aimed at supporting customers in outlying areas who are less able to travel to the centres.
Andy Hogarth, Chief Executive of Staffline, commented:
"This is an excellent contract win for EOS and we are delighted to extend our reach in Northern Ireland. The Steps to Success programme is tailored to Northern Ireland, reflecting the needs of the region. Staffline's EOS model suits this programme perfectly and we look forward to working with the DEL going forwards."
