Eos ranked No 1 of 40 Work Programme Contracts Nationally
Staffline, the national outsourcing organisation providing people and operational expertise to industry, today publishes the following performance metrics for its wholly owned subsidiary Eos, one of the UK's leading Work Programme providers.
The Work Programme is a government funded scheme aimed at helping people who have been claiming unemployment benefits for 12 months or more and those claiming employment support allowance. Following the completion of the second full year of Eos providing the scheme for the Department for Work and Pensions ('DWP'), Staffline confirms the following Programme Performance Data ('PPD') which was released yesterday.
In relation to Year two, measured between April 2012 and March 2013, Eos is ranked No 1 out of a possible 40 Work Programme contracts nationally. During the period under review, Eos delivered 3,279 successful job outcomes from a total of 10,846 referrals in the Birmingham, Solihull and Black Country contract package area, delivering a Job Outcome rate of 30.2%.
Year 2: Key Statistics:

The combination of Staffline and Eos has created a unique approach to tackling long term unemployment in the West Midlands. By developing training centres which create tailored 'work activity zones', applicants are not only professionally screened on entering the programme, they also receive the relevant training and support required to re-enter the local jobs market.
Andy Hogarth, Chief Executive of Staffline commented:
"We are delighted with the performance of Eos over the last 12 months having worked extremely hard since acquisition to understand and develop the skills required to achieve success. Our combination of commercial recruitment expertise coupled with an ability to harness the tremendous knowledge of welfare support that exists within Eos underpins our Year Two performance.
We look forward to achieving further success in the Welfare to Work arena."
