JPMorgan Cazenove Limited advise that an announcement headed Additional Listing
released by us at 12.30pm on 26 March 2007 under RNS 6935T contained incorrect
information relating to the number of shares and the name of scheme to be block
listed by Standard Chartered PLC. The full text of the announcement should read
as follows:









Application has been made to The UK Listing Authority and the London Stock
Exchange for a block listing of 125,000 Ordinary shares of US$0.50 each under
the Company's Performance Share Plan, to trade on the London Stock Exchange and
to be admitted to the Official List upon issuance.
