STANDARD CHARTERED CONSUMER BANKING BRIEFING
A presentation to banking analysts and institutional investors on Standard
Chartered's Consumer Banking activities is being held today (30th April 2001)
in London. Leading the presentation will be Mike DeNoma, Group Executive
Director with responsibility for Consumer Banking, and he will be joined by
six members of his team.
The presentation will focus on the opportunities in Consumer Banking in
Standard Chartered's markets and the Bank's strategy for Consumer Banking.
There will not be an update on current trading.
Copies of the slides used in the presentation will be available on Standard
