Conversion of ordinary shares.
At the Company's AGM in May last year, shareholders approved the proposal to
change the nominal value of the Company's ordinary shares from £0.25 each to
US$0.50 each.
Dealings in the new US$0.50 ordinary shares will begin on 19 January 2001.
Court hearing of petition to confirm the capital 17 January 2001
reduction
Last day of dealings in the existing ordinary shares 18 January 2001
on the London Stock Exchange
Court order confirming the capital reduction 18 January 2001
registered by the Registrar of Companies (this is when
the capital reduction becomes effective)
Share certificates for the existing ordinary shares are 5.30 pm on 18 January
no longer valid 2001
New share certificates sent to the ordinary 19 January 2001
shareholders who do not hold their shares in CREST
New ordinary shares credited to CREST accounts 19 January 2001
where existing shares are held in CREST
First day of dealings in the new ordinary shares on 19 January 2001
