Pursuant to the UK Listing Rule 9.6.14(2), Standard Chartered PLC announces that Christine Hodgson, Senior Independent Director will join Severn Trent Plc as an Independent Non-Executive Director from 1 January 2020 becoming Chair in April 2020.  

In addition, Christine will be appointed as a member of Severn Trent Plc's Remuneration, Nominations and Corporate Responsibility Committees from 1 January 2020.
