ANNOUNCES BOARD CHANGE

 

Standard Chartered PLC ("the Company") announces that Dr Kurt Campbell

(aged 59), an independent non-executive director since June 2013 and a member of the Brand, Values and Conduct Committee has decided to step down from the Board after four years to focus more time on his other business roles.  Dr Campbell will step down from the Board with immediate effect.

 

José Viñals, Chairman said "On behalf of the Board I would like to thank Kurt for his many and substantial contributions to the Group over the past four years.  We wish him all the best for the future". 

 

Additional information

There are no matters relating to the resignation of Dr Campbell that need to be brought to the attention of the shareholders of the Company.
