Change in Hong Kong Register Dividend Dates

14 August 2013

Under Practice Note 8 to the Rules Governing the Listing of Securities on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited, issuers are able to automatically postpone the dividend ex-date and record date if impacted by a typhoon.

In light of the current typhoon in Hong Kong, the Hong Kong register dividend dates have been amended as follows:

HK register Dividend Dates:

	Original	NEW DATES
Ex-Dividend Date	14 August 2013 (Wednesday)	15 August 2013 (Thursday)
Record Date	16 August 2013 - 9am HKT (Friday)	19 August 2013 - 9am HKT (Monday)

The latest time for HK shareholders lodging the transfer documents has been accordingly postponed to 4:30pm (HK time) on 16 August 2013.

The UK register and Indian Depository Receipt (IDR) register dividend dates are not impacted and remain as follows:

Ex-Dividend Date	14 August 2013 (Wednesday)
Record Date	16 August 2013 (Friday)

Please note that transfers will not be allowed between the UK and HK registers as from 10pm 16 August (UK time) to 9am 19 August 2013 (HK time).

All other interim dividend dates (including the payment date) in the UK, Hong Kong and India will remain unchanged.
