Pursuant to the RNS issued on 14 November 2008, Standard Chartered PLC is releasing a more detailed disclosure on the Wholesale Banking Business during the Investor Trip today. The more detailed disclosure is detailed in the Appendix to this document. The financial performance data as of 30 June 2008 is used as a base to demonstrate the breadth of our Wholesale Banking income base. No comments on current Wholesale Banking trading will be made during the Investor Trip.
