(the 'Company')
Letter to all Shareholders
The company dispatched a letter to shareholders on 12 August 2004, copies of
which will be available from the Company's Registered Office for a period of one
month. The full text of the letter is detailed below:
'Dear Shareholder
I am writing to give you a brief update.
Firstly, I am pleased to advise you that, following an overwhelming positive
response, the resolution to change the name from Web Shareshop (Holdings) plc to
Starvest plc was passed at the Company's Extraordinary General Meeting of 29
July 2004.
In our previous announcements we had indicated that by mid August we would issue
a Chairman's update as at 31 July to be followed by our annual report in late
September prior to an AGM at the end of October. So as to assist in the
Company's promotion, we have decided to bring forward the announcement of our
year end results and the publication of our annual report. Our intended
timetable now is to:
• announce our results to AIM on 25 August;
• issue the annual report and financial statements by 9 September; and
• hold the annual general meeting at 3.00 pm on Thursday 7 October 2004 in
the Euston Square, London office of Grant Thornton.
I am pleased to report that the Company recently raised £597,250 of new capital
which is being committed to finance new and exciting investment opportunities
now before us.
We will resume our programme of regular updates in the Autumn.
Yours sincerely
R Bruce Rowan
Chairman & Chief Executive'
