SThree plc announces that on 4 December 2007, it purchased for cancellation,
100,000 ordinary shares of 1p each at an average price of 208.3061pence per
share.

The highest price paid was 211pence per share and the lowest price paid was
204.75pence per share.

For confirmation the Company's issued capital is now 138,077,163 ordinary shares
of 1p each.
