SThree plc announces that on 11 January 2008, it purchased for cancellation,
73,646 ordinary shares of 1p each at an average price of 199.0038 pence per
share.


The highest price paid was 200.50 pence per share and the lowest price paid was
195.25 pence per share.


For confirmation the Company's issued capital is now 135,976,814 ordinary shares
of 1p each.
