SThree plc announces that on 17 January 2008, it purchased for cancellation,
101,479 ordinary shares of 1p each at an average price of 200.0009 pence per
share.



The highest price paid was 204.75 pence per share and the lowest price paid was
196 pence per share.



For confirmation the Company's issued capital is now 135,490,407 ordinary shares
of 1p each.
