Allotment of Ordinary Shares


Strategic Equity Capital plc announces the allotment for cash of 2,226,000
Ordinary shares of 10p each fully paid at a price of 101.75p per share.


Applications have been made for the new Ordinary shares to be admitted to
trading on the London Stock Exchange and to the Official List of the Financial
Services Authority.  It is expected that dealings will commence and admission
will become effective on 2 November 2005.  The new Ordinary shares will rank
pari passu in all respects with the existing Ordinary shares and, following
admission, there will be 72,626,000 Ordinary shares in issue.
