                              Additional Listing

The Company announces the exercise of options under the Solitaire Group
Approved Employee Share Option Scheme over 61,750 ordinary shares. The shares
were allotted pursuant to the exercise of these options on 9 October 2001.


Application has been made for 61,750 new ordinary shares of 10p each, which
rank pari passu with existing ordinary shares, to be admitted to trading on
the Alternative Investment Market. Admission will become effective and
dealings are expected to commence at 8.00 a.m. 12 October 2001.
