Michael Grade Resigns from SMG Board
The Board of SMG plc ('SMG') announces that, following his appointment as
Chairman of the BBC, Michael Grade has intimated his resignation from the Board
of SMG with immediate effect. Michael was appointed to the SMG Board on 1
September 2003.
Commenting, Don Cruickshank, Chairman of SMG, said:
'In his short period on SMG's Board, Michael has made a valuable contribution.
It's no surprise that the BBC have snapped him up and we wish him every success
in his new role.'
