New Director for SMG
SMG plc ('SMG') announces that MT (Mary Teresa) Rainey is joining the Group's
Board as a non-executive director.
Having recently stepped down as Chair of Rainey Kelly Campbell Roalfe/Y&R - the
sixth largest advertising agency in the UK and now part of the WPP group - MT
brings a wealth of experience of both the advertising industry and of brand
marketing strategy.
MT is currently a non-executive director of WH Smith plc, a founder and trustee
of the volunteering charity Timebank and a trustee of the independent think
tank, Demos. She is also a visiting professor at the University of Glasgow
Business School and Chair of the Marketing Group of Great Britain.
SMG Chairman, Chris Masters, said:

advertising and brand management will be invaluable as we continue to develop

MT Rainey said:
