SMG Confirms Sale of Glasgow TV Studios Ahead of Move in 2006

SMG plc ('SMG') has reached agreement on the sale of its Scottish TV studios in
Glasgow in preparation for its move in 2006 to new, purpose-built facilities,
also in Glasgow, on which it has entered into a 20 year lease.

The net asset value of the existing premises, which SMG will vacate once it has
taken possession of its new facility, was £5.1m at 31 December 2003.
