Interim Management Statement - Quarter 3 2014

STV Group plc today releases its Interim Management Statement covering the period from 28 August 2014 to 5 November 2014. The Group continues to deliver trading in line with expectations.
In the consumer business in the year-to-date to end of October, national advertising revenues were up 6%. Looking ahead for the full year, national advertising revenues are expected to be up 6%. Regional airtime revenues were up 6% to end of October and are expected to be up 5% for the full year.
In line with previous indications the digital business continues to grow with full year revenues expected to be up 15% to 20%.
The launch of our second city TV service, STV Edinburgh, is on track for early 2015. Applications have been submitted to Ofcom to deliver a further three city services in Scotland.
During the period it was also confirmed that STV Productions secured a further commission for a third series of Catchphrase for ITV's peak-time weekend schedule.
Rob Woodward, Chief Executive Officer of STV Group plc, said: "All areas of the business are continuing to make good progress and the digital business continues to grow with revenues expected to be up 15-20% year on year. We look forward to further expanding our portfolio of consumer services with the launch of City TV in Edinburgh in January."
