Stake in SRH

SMG plc ('SMG') stake in Scottish Radio Holdings plc ('SRH')

The board of SMG confirms that prior to today's market opening it acquired
a 2.9% stake in SRH.

SMG's broker is currently acquiring further shares in the market but it
confirms that it has no current intention of making an offer for the whole of
SRH although it reserves its options in the event of any material
change in circumstances, including if another party makes such an offer.

A further announcement will be made in due course.
