SulNOx, the Greentech company inventing all natural, zero net-cost solutions to reduce consumption and associated emissions of liquid hydrocarbon fuels, is pleased to announce the conclusion of a successful extended shipping evaluation with Caspian Marine Services B.V. ("CMS").

CMS operates a fleet of more than 25 offshore marine support vessels, serving the offshore oil and gas exploration and production industry, chartering many of their ships to large oil majors. CMS started its operations in 2006 in Baku, the capital city and main shipping centre of Azerbaijan, and now has vessels strategically deployed offshore in the Caspian Sea. The group provides a broad range of offshore support services coupled with the highest standards of safety, service and technology available to the industry in the region.

Two CMS offshore support vessels were included in a long-term evaluation of the SulNOxEcoTM fuel conditioner. Both vessels demonstrated improvements in consumption that has resulted in the evaluation being extended to a third vessel.

There are also significant environmental benefits from reductions in greenhouse gas and particulate matter, providing a compelling Greentech innovation adoption ahead of COP 29 in Baku in November.

Carl Rolaston, Chairman of the CMS Supervisory Board and Farid Gurbanov, CEO of CMS said:

"The drive to reduce fuel consumption and emissions is a pressing issue for the shipping industry and is critical to our Company's mission. Using SulNOx sends an important message to our clients that we are embracing green solutions, both nationally and locally, as part of Azerbaijan's commitment to the mitigation of climate change ahead of COP29 in our country."

Ben Richardson CEO of SulNOx Ltd. commented:

"I am delighted that SulNOx and CMS are working together to help address Azerbaijan's ambitious target to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 35% by 2030 compared to 1990. CMS is a trailblazer in the Caspian Sea region for taking action to achieve important CII and ESG goals. We look forward to continuing these valuable trials as the world focuses on its next major climate summit in November."
