CS Project Mine Permit Appeal Period Closed.
No Appeals Submitted
Further to the Company's announcement of 29 July 2020, the Company has been advised that that no appeals have been lodged against the decision of the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) to authorise mining operations at the Company's CS Pozzolan-Perlite Project in Nevada, USA and that the appeal period is now closed.
As announced on 18 August 2020, the appeal period for the grant of the Company's mine reclamation permit by the Nevada Bureau of Mining Regulation and Reclamation (BMRR) has also passed without objection and Nevada Division of Environmental Protection's decision to award a Class II Air Quality Permit for a minerals processing plant is open to comment and objection until 11 September 2020.
Commenting today Sunrise Executive Chairman Patrick Cheetham said : "We are pleased to see that the various appeal periods are passing without any objections or appeals and that we now have a clear green light for the mine development from both the BLM and BMRR. I think this reflects the thorough work that went into the Environmental Assessment and the positive green credentials of the CS Project."
