NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTORS' SHARE ISSUE
This announcement replaces RNS announcement 8421L released today at 16:40.
Sunrise Diamonds plc ('the Company') has today issued 189,235 new ordinary
shares at 1.75p per share to Francis Johnstone and 165,759 new ordinary shares
at 1.75p per share to Neil Herbert (Messrs Johnstone and Herbert being the
two non-executive directors of the Company) following the Company's agreement
with the two non-executive directors that their fee entitlements (net of PAYE
Income Tax and National Insurance) be settled bi-annually by an issue of new
ordinary shares.
This share issue represents payment of net fees for the period 1 May 2007 to
31 December 2007. The issue price is the closing mid-market price on the day
prior to the date of allotment following the end of the relevant close period.
Application has been made for 354,994 new ordinary shares to be admitted to
trading on AIM and it is expected that such admission will become effective at
8am on 21 January 2008.
