Additional Admission

 

Supermarket Income REIT plc (LSE: SUPR), the real estate investment trust providing secure, inflation-protected, long income from grocery property in the UK, announces that is has made an application for 500,750 New Ordinary Shares to be admitted to trading on the Specialist Fund Segment of the London Stock Exchange's Main Market for listed securities. It is expected that these New Ordinary Shares will be admitted to trading on or around 16 November 2021.

The application is being made pursuant to the scrip dividend alternative in lieu of cash for the interim dividend for the period from 1 July 2021 to 30 September 2021. Elections for a scrip dividend were received in respect of 5.2% of the Ordinary Shares in issue as at the record date of 8 October 2021. When issued, these New Ordinary Shares will rank pari passu with the existing Ordinary Shares.

Following admission of the New Ordinary Shares, the Company's issued share capital will consist of 985,434,429 Ordinary Shares of £0.01 each. With effect from 16 November 2021, the total number of issued shares with voting rights will be 985,434,429.

The above figure of 985,434,429 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or of a change to their interest in, Supermarket Income REIT plc under the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
