SUTTON HARBOUR HOLDINGS PLC ("the Company")
Planning Consent granted for 'Boardwalk' development at Sutton Harbour, Plymouth
The Company reports that planning consent has been granted for the 'Boardwalk' scheme in the Vauxhall Quay area of Sutton Harbour, Plymouth, an important early milestone in the 'Vision for Sutton Harbour' initiative to establish Sutton Harbour, Plymouth as a recognised visitor destination of regional importance and national significance.
The scheme comprises a total 7,807 sq ft (725 m2) of lettable space in two larger units for quality family and visitor-orientated restaurant use and one smaller pavilion unit. The structure, built on piles over the water with views towards the historic Barbican area of Sutton Harbour, will incorporate a boardwalk pedestrian access which will greatly improve connectivity from the western to the northern side of the harbour.
The Company already has strong interest in units from well-known operators and pre-letting of the units will be targeted to secure development financing.
