SYMPHONY PLASTIC TECHNOLOGIES PLC
NEW CONTRACT AWARD
Symphony Plastic Technologies Plc ('Symphony' or 'the Group'), has been awarded
a significant three year contract worth a total of approximately £750,000 over
the life of the contract by Central Services Agency ('CSA') in Belfast.
This is Symphony's first contract in Northern Ireland and is for the supply of
non-degradable aprons, refuse sacks and other related polythene products to
hospitals throughout Northern Ireland. The sacks are being used in hospitals for
patients' property and for the disposal of normal and infected waste.
Michael Laurier, Chief Executive Officer, said:
'The CSA contract for Symphony's non-degradable, high performance products is
further evidence of Symphony's progress in delivering sales to the local
authority sector and again demonstrates the diversity of customers and products
supplied by the Group.'

Symphony develops and supplies environmentally responsible plastic packaging
products, which are distributed primarily to the retail, local authority and
health related sectors. The Group's main technology, d2wTM, allows plastic to
harmlessly degrade, leaving only water, carbon dioxide and trace amounts of
