EXERCISE OF WARRANTS 

AND

ISSUE OF EQUITY


Symphony Environmental Technologies Plc ('Symphony', 'Company' or 'the Group'), the environmental plastics and waste-to-energy Group, announces that 300,000 ordinary 1p share warrants have been exercised by Headstart Global Fund Limited and Headstart Global Aggressive Fund Limited (together 'Headstart')The warrants were granted further to an amendment dated 27 September 2007 to the convertible loan agreement made on 13 December 2006 between the Company and Headstart. The exercise price of these warrants is 4.125p per ordinary share.


Application has been made for the new ordinary shares, which will rank pari passu with the Company's existing ordinary shares in issue, to be admitted to trading on AIM. It is expected that admission will be effective and that dealings in the new ordinary shares will commence on 1 October 2009.
