Anticipated Offering of Grant
Symphony Environmental Technologies Plc ('Symphony'), the degradable plastics
and waste-to-energy Group, announces that Symphony Energy Ltd (the 'Company')
has been notified by the Technology Strategy Board ('TSB') that it anticipates
offering the Company, and its consortium of partners, a grant for research and
development in the area of High Value Manufacturing relating to a rubber product
enhanced recovery technology project.
The Company is the lead partner, the other members of the consortium are
academic and commercial partners. The partners were chosen for their expertise
which wholly supports the collaborative research and development of microwave
pyrolysis and rubber product enhanced recovery.
Notification from the TSB states that a formal offer letter for the above is
expected to be issued by the end of the first week of May. The Company then has
a period of time to accept the offer.
