                         APPOINTMENT OF DEPUTY CHAIRMAN


London, 27, October 2005 - DAT announces that at an Extraordinary General
Meeting, held today, David Ian Wickham joined the Board as the new Deputy
Chairman of the Group.

David joins DAT following a long career in the telecoms and technology world. He
has worked with companies in this sector including Energis plc (as Chief
Executive and Chief Operating Officer) and Cable & Wireless, where he spent 20
years working in the U.K., Asia and the Americas, most recently as Chief
Executive of Cable & Wireless Global Network. He has recently been appointed to
the Board of a number of telecoms technology businesses. In many of these
companies he has taken an active role, advising them at every level and stage of
their business development. He has held the roles of Chairman and Chief
Executive in this industry sector managing businesses ranging in size from
significant FTSE quoted entities to small newly established companies.

Commenting on the appointment, Carsten Brinkschulte, CEO of DAT said: 'I am
looking forward to working with David. He has a wealth of experience in the
international telecommunications industry and we believe he will fit in well at
DAT. I am sure he will make an important contribution to the Group as it
continues to develop'.
