Board Appointments
London, 25 July 2005 - DAT Group plc today announced that Carsten Brinkschulte,
currently Chief Technical Officer of DAT and Terry Page, currently Director,
Commercial Delivery have joined the Board as executive directors with immediate
effect.
Following the resignation of David Hayes, also announced today, the Board of DAT
Group plc now comprises: John Gunn, Chairman (non-executive), Stephen Sadler
(non-executive), Allan Jonnes, Interim Chief Executive Officer and Chief
Financial Officer, Carsten Brinkschulte, Chief Technical Officer and Terry Page,
Director, Commercial Delivery.
Carsten Brinkschulte, aged 38, was the founder of Synchronica GmbH, which was
acquired by DAT in April 2005. He was appointed Chief Technical Officer in May
2005. Carsten has spent his entire career developing and bringing to market
innovative software solutions for telecommunications and web applications. His
experience includes time spent with very large companies such as SAP as well as
spells with technology based start-ups.
Terry Page, aged 36, began his career in IT in the finance sector before moving
into consulting and project management for a number of large, blue chip
organizations. Terry joined DAT in 1997 and has been responsible for the project
delivery team controlling large-scale systems implementations for some of the
Group's largest customers.
Commenting on the appointments, John Gunn, Chairman, said: 'We have taken the
opportunity to significantly strengthen our Board. Carsten's background of
developing and delivering mobile technologies combined with his undoubted
entrepreneurial and sales skills make him a valuable addition. Terry's
background in implementation and delivery, with DAT and others, will help us to
focus more effectively on sales opportunities, conversion and execution. I'm
delighted to welcome both Carsten and Terry to the Board.'
No other details are required to be disclosed under schedule 2 of the AIM Rules
with respect to both Carsten Brinkschulte and Terry Page.
