SYNEXUS CLINICAL RESEARCH PLC (the "Company")

GRANT OF OPTIONS

On 22 December 2006, options over 116,290 ordinary shares of 10p each in Synexus
Clinical Research PLC were granted to Paul McCluskey, a director of the Company,
in accordance with the Rules of the EMI Scheme and Unapproved Share Option
Scheme. The options are exercisable in the period 21 December 2006 to 21
December 2016 at a price of 99.5p per share and represent Paul McCluskey's only
interest in the issued share capital of the Company.
