GRANT OF OPTIONS

On 19 June 2006, options over 276,378 ordinary shares of 10p each in Synexus
Clinical Research PLC were granted to senior management in accordance with the
Rules of the EMI Scheme and Unapproved Share Option Scheme. The options are
exercisable in the period 20 June 2009 to 19 June 2016 at a price of 99.5p per
share.
