Quadnetics Group plc ('Quadnetics') announces that it expects to release results
for the six months to 30 November 2005 on 20 February 2006. This will be
approximately three weeks later than the equivalent announcement date for the
2004/05 financial year, as a result of the substantial additional work needed to
complete the acquisition balance sheet of Protec plc ('Protec') which will be
consolidated within Quadnetics' figures as at 30 November.

The offer to acquire Protec was declared unconditional on 9 November 2005.

Russ Singleton, Chief Executive of Quadnetics, commented:

'We have been delighted to welcome the Protec businesses within Quadnetics over
the past month or so, and have been gratified by the enthusiasm and
professionalism of the Protec employees who have joined us. We believe that
benefits from the acquisition will be at least as great as originally envisaged,
and are very pleased with progress so far on the integration plan.'
