                     Landmark contract win in North America

Quadnetics Group plc ('Quadnetics') subsidiary Synectic Systems Limited ('
Synectics') has won an important contract to supply a CCTV digital recording
system for use in a large casino in Ontario, Canada.  The contract incorporates
an advanced technology digital recording and control system covering
approximately 1600 cameras, and Quadnetics believes it will be the largest and
most sophisticated such system so far installed in the world. The initial value
of the order is in excess of US $2 million.

The contract award followed an extensive tender and technical evaluation process
in competition with leading US and European digital CCTV equipment
manufacturers.

The system will be supplied through a US installation and service partner, and
is due for delivery in November 2004. It incorporates Synectics' award-winning
Synergy(TM) software control system and graphical user interface, as well as
proprietary software and hardware developed for the company's landmark UK
applications, including Manchester City centre.  Synectics also gained valuable
support from its partnership with IBM, which is supplying the computer hardware.

Russ Singleton, Chief Executive of Quadnetics, commented:

which to extend our relationships with local US and Canadian installers and end
customers in the casino, homeland defence and wider security sectors.  Evidence

than anything else currently available in the advanced technology digital CCTV
field and we intend to capitalise as fully as we can on this opportunity.'
